Inra provides general wellness and educational information about packaged foods. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any disease, and it is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider.
No warranty of accuracy
Label reading and product information may contain errors. Inra is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Verify important information against the product packaging and your healthcare provider.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inra and its makers are not liable for any decisions made, or damages arising, from use of the app or its information.
Reads, subscriptions and payment
Inra meters usage in reads. One read is one label sent to be interpreted. Every new account receives 10 free reads as a one-time lifetime allowance, not a monthly one. Cached results for a pack already in our database do not consume a read.
Beyond the free allowance, Inra offers auto-renewing subscriptions — Monthly 100 reads and Annual 100 reads per month — and, for active subscribers, one-time top-up packs of additional reads. Unused monthly reads may roll over up to a maximum of one additional month's allowance; they do not accumulate indefinitely.
All payments are taken by Apple through in-app purchase; we never see or hold your card details. Prices are displayed in your own currency in the app before purchase and are charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in the iPhone Settings app under your Apple Account › Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If reads were charged but not delivered because of a fault on our side, write to us and we will restore them.
A plan is held by one Inra account at a time. If you move to a different phone number, purchasing again on the new number moves the plan to it.
Your account, and ending it
Inra accounts are identified by your phone number. You are responsible for the number you sign in with and for keeping access to it. You may delete your account at any time from Profile › Delete account inside the app; deletion is immediate and permanent, and what is erased and what is retained is set out in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your Inra account does not cancel an Apple subscription — cancel that separately, as described above. We may suspend or end an account that is being used to abuse the service, to attack it, or to extract our data in bulk.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape or resell our data, or use Inra to make claims about a product on our behalf. Inra's readings, verdicts and underlying data remain our property; you keep the photographs you take.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. We will update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell you in the app before any change that materially affects you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that cannot be varied by agreement.

You must be 18 or older to use Inra.
